<h3 data-start="213" data-end="244">1. <strong data-start="220" data-end="244">The Bubble Sandwich!</strong></h3>
<p data-start="245" data-end="505">Every bubble is a stretchy sandwich made of soap–water–soap. This delicate film traps air inside, thanks to something called <em data-start="370" data-end="387">surface tension</em>. Soap weakens the water’s grip just</p>
<p data-start="245" data-end="505">enough to let it stretch and flex into a bubble without bursting straight away.</p>
<p data-start="507" data-end="781">To make these bubbles <em data-start="529" data-end="543">super strong</em>, we add clever ingredients like <strong data-start="576" data-end="591">xanthan gum</strong> (included in your kit!). This special powder slows down how quickly the water evaporates and makes the bubble film much more elastic — perfect for creating bubbles you can catch and bounce!</p>
<hr data-start="783" data-end="786" />
<h3 data-start="788" data-end="831">2. <strong data-start="795" data-end="831">Keeping Bubbles Alive for Longer</strong></h3>
<p data-start="832" data-end="1105">Bubbles usually pop because their water disappears into the air (especially on warm or windy days). That’s why we include a <strong data-start="956" data-end="971">pH adjuster</strong> (baking powder) and bubble-strengthening agents in our kit — they work together to slow evaporation and give you more time to play.</p>
<p data-start="1107" data-end="1207">You’ll notice: stronger solution = longer-lasting bubbles. That’s when the real bubble tricks begin!</p>
<hr data-start="1209" data-end="1212" />
<h3 data-start="1214" data-end="1251">3. <strong data-start="1221" data-end="1251">Bounce Them? Yes, You Can!</strong></h3>
<p data-start="1252" data-end="1468">Normally, bubbles pop when they touch skin because of oils, dust, and</p>
<p data-start="1252" data-end="1468">rough surfaces. But our <em data-start="1346" data-end="1360">magic gloves</em> act like a soft landing pad — they protect the bubble and let you <strong data-start="1427" data-end="1467">catch it, balance it, even bounce it</strong>!</p>
<p data-start="1470" data-end="1623">The gloves reduce friction and stop anything nasty from breaking the bubble’s delicate surface. Clean, dry, and magical — they’re a bubble’s best friend!</p>
<hr data-start="176" data-end="179" />
<h3 data-start="181" data-end="630"><strong data-start="181" data-end="228">4. What Makes Touchable Bubbles So Special?</strong></h3>
<p data-start="181" data-end="630"><br data-start="228" data-end="231" />Unlike ordinary bubbles, <em data-start="256" data-end="275">Touchable Bubbles</em> are made with a pinch of polymer science! Inside each test-tube is a special bubble solution containing a safe, water-soluble plastic.</p>
<div id="attachment_1438" style="width: 269px" class="wp-caption alignright"><a href="https://www.science2life.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/stacked-bubbles.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1438" class="size-full wp-image-1438" src="https://www.science2life.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/stacked-bubbles.jpg" alt="A hand stacking multiple touchable bubbles on one finger against a black background." width="259" height="194" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-1438" class="wp-caption-text">How many bubbles can you stack?</p></div>
<p data-start="181" data-end="630">When you blow a bubble, the water in the film starts to evaporate — and here’s the clever bit: this leaves behind a super-light plastic shell that can float, hover, and even be <strong data-start="588" data-end="610">caught and stacked</strong> without bursting!</p>
<p data-start="632" data-end="819">That’s why you might see a delay before you can touch them — they need a second or two to &#8220;set&#8221; in the air. And when they do, you can blow hundreds and play with them like never before!</p>
<p data-start="821" data-end="928"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Use them with your magic gloves or the Wandarama stick to really show off your bubble-balancing powers!</p>
<hr data-start="144" data-end="147" />

<p data-start="1086" data-end="1268">This kit provides everything you need (except washing-up liquid and water) to make up to <strong data-start="1175" data-end="1188">50 litres</strong> of high-performance bubble solution. Just follow the simple instructions below.</p>
<hr data-start="1270" data-end="1273" />
<h2 data-start="1275" data-end="1302"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f50d.png" alt="🔍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong data-start="1281" data-end="1302">Science in Action</strong></h2>
<p data-start="1303" data-end="1615">The secret to our giant bubbles? <strong data-start="1336" data-end="1348">Polymers</strong>! These long-chain molecules add <strong data-start="1381" data-end="1421">mechanical strength and stretchiness</strong> to the soap film. When you form a bubble, the polymers begin to <strong data-start="1486" data-end="1514">uncoil and link together</strong>, allowing the bubble to grow far larger than ordinary soap and water would allow — without bursting!</p>
<hr data-start="1617" data-end="1620" />
<h3 data-start="1622" data-end="1669"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f9f4.png" alt="🧴" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong data-start="1628" data-end="1669">How to Make 2 Litres of Bubble Juice:</strong></h3>

For best results, leave it to rest overnight before use — your bubbles will be even bigger and better!</p>

<h3 data-start="2204" data-end="2232"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f9fc.png" alt="🧼" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong data-start="2210" data-end="2232">Cleanliness Counts</strong></h3>
<p data-start="2233" data-end="2388">The bubble mix contains natural polymers, which are biodegradable but <strong data-start="327" data-end="362">less resistant to contamination</strong>, making it especially important to keep all equipment clean when mixing and storing your solution. To keep your bubble juice in the best condition:</p>
<ul data-start="2390" data-end="2680">
<li data-start="2390" data-end="2483">
<p data-start="2392" data-end="2483"><strong data-start="2392" data-end="2405">Sterilise</strong> all utensils and containers before use, especially if you’re storing the mix.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="2484" data-end="2562">
<p data-start="2486" data-end="2562"><strong data-start="2486" data-end="2505">Use clean wands</strong> and avoid dipping dirty ones back into your main supply.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="2563" data-end="2680">
<h3 data-start="2565" data-end="2680"><strong data-start="2565" data-end="2574">Store</strong> your solution in a clean, airtight container. When stored properly, it should last for up to <strong data-start="2668" data-end="2679">2 weeks</strong>.</h3>
</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="2822" data-end="3098"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f6ab.png" alt="🚫" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong data-start="2825" data-end="2882">Don’t pour used bubble juice back into the container!</strong><br data-start="2882" data-end="2885" />&#8216;Used&#8217; juice can become contaminated by dirty hands, spores, dust, or pollen — especially as little ones often touch the ground with their bubble wands. Each dip can introduce unwanted microbes and spoil your mix.</p>
<hr data-start="3100" data-end="3103" />
<h2 data-start="3105" data-end="3150"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f9ea.png" alt="🧪" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong data-start="3111" data-end="3150">Science Note: The Power of Polymers</strong></h2>
<p data-start="3151" data-end="3450">Polymers are the <em data-start="3168" data-end="3190">stretchy superheroes</em> of our bubble mix. At first, the molecules are <strong data-start="3238" data-end="3269">tightly coiled like springs</strong>. When you blow a bubble, the film stretches and the polymers <strong data-start="3331" data-end="3341">unwind</strong>, linking together and reinforcing the structure — allowing bubbles to grow to massive sizes without popping.</p>
<hr data-start="3452" data-end="3455" />
<h3 data-start="3457" data-end="3481"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f552.png" alt="🕒" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong data-start="3463" data-end="3481">Time to Unwind</strong></h3>
<p data-start="3482" data-end="3749">After mixing, polymers need time to <strong data-start="3518" data-end="3545">fully hydrate and relax</strong>. Leaving the solution to rest for at least a couple of hours — preferably overnight — gives the polymers time to stretch out and do their job. This results in a <strong data-start="3707" data-end="3732">stronger, more stable </strong>bubble solution.</p>
<hr data-start="3751" data-end="3754" />
<h3 data-start="3756" data-end="3792"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f331.png" alt="🌱" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong data-start="3762" data-end="3792">A Note on Natural Polymers</strong></h3>
<p data-start="3793" data-end="4137">This mix uses <strong data-start="3807" data-end="3827">natural polymers</strong>, which are more eco-friendly and biodegradable than synthetic ones like <strong data-start="3900" data-end="3928">polyethylene oxide (PEO)</strong>. However, they are also more prone to <strong data-start="3967" data-end="3993">biological degradation</strong> — that is, breaking down when exposed to bacteria or mould. That’s why <strong data-start="4065" data-end="4103">clean equipment and proper storage</strong> are essential for bubble success!</p>

<h3>Safety: It is recommended that all young children should wear safety goggles (swimming goggles are perfect!) when playing with bubbles to prevent any soap splashes going into their eyes.</h3>
<p><strong>What to do if a bubble bursts and goes into their eyes:</strong></p>
<p>Rinse eyes with lukewarm water with one of the following methods:</p>
<ul>
<li>Pour a gentle stream of water from a jug or clean teapot over the eye from the inside corner by the nose, across the eye, flowing out towards the ear.</li>
<li>Eye may be irrigated in the shower if this can be accomplished without delay.</li>
<li>Young children may be wrapped like a mummy in a towel with arms at side and held over sink or tub or laid on counter during flushing.</li>

<p><strong>It also does with a 27 page guidance booklet, online support for organisers of the event plus a 20 minute Science of Bubbles Show with Scientific Sue</strong>!</p>
<p>Bubbles hold many wonders and create lots of excitement, and investigating the science methods behind the creation of different bubble solutions is sure to fascinate young minds and help them think like a scientist.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #ff0000"><strong>All of our STEAM ACADEMY workshops are designed to not only motivate and fire the spirit of discovery with our children but also ignite curiosity in their minds.</strong></span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #0000ff">Each child leaves with a tub of bubbles, their own tri-string bubble wand, a sachet of giant bubble polymer and pH adjuster to make 2 L of bubble solution which will allow them to make amazing bubbles with the rest of their family and friends!</span></h3>
<h3>Safety: It is recommended that all young children should wear safety goggles when playing with bubbles to prevent any soap splashes going into their eyes.</h3>
<p><strong>What to do:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Eyes:  </strong>Rinse eyes with lukewarm water with one of the following methods:</p>
<ul>
